1. Don’t use any data that shows the 18 + year pause in global warming or disagrees with your premise including Satellite Temperature Data or Argo Sea Surface Temperature Data.

2. Instead use measurements from buoys that were never intended to be used to measure temperatures accurately.

3. Than adjust any data that still may not agree with your premise by claiming the data was inaccurate and needs to be adjusted.

4. To further adjust the data, cherry pick the time intervals so the pause just disappears like magic.

The EPA’s attempt to harness new coal-fired power plant constructions has been exposed as ideological rather than legal. The EPA further ignored the Department of Energy’s (DOE) earlier conclusion that carbon capture and storage (CCS) has not been “adequately demonstrated.” [1]

Thanks to commentary from The Energy and Environment Legal Institute (E&E Legal) the EPA has been forced to retreat from their draft rule. That rule would mandate the use of CCS, a process that would inter carbon dioxide underground which has so far proved to be little more than a thought experiment. To mandate this technology, the court required the EPA to prove CCS was “adequately demonstrated” and “commercially available.” In that they were laid naked by E&E Legal.

   I agree that CO2 is beneficial. This will be even more so in future because it is more likely than not that the earth has already entered a long term cooling trend following the recent temperature peak in the quasi-millennial solar driven periodicity .

   The climate models on which the entire Catastrophic Global Warming delusion rests are built without regard to the natural 60 and more importantly 1000 year periodicities so obvious in the temperature record. The modelers approach is simply a scientific disaster and lacks even average commonsense .It is exactly like taking the temperature trend from say Feb – July and projecting it ahead linearly for 20 years or so. They back tune their models for less than 100 years when the relevant time scale is millennial. This is scientific malfeasance on a grand scale. The temperature projections of the IPCC – UK Met office models and all the impact studies which derive from them have no solid foundation in empirical science being derived from inherently useless and specifically structurally flawed models. They provide no basis for the discussion of future climate trends and represent an enormous waste of time and money. As a foundation for Governmental climate and energy policy their forecasts are already seen to be grossly in error and are therefore worse than useless. A new forecasting paradigm needs to be adopted. For forecasts of the timing and extent of the coming cooling based on the natural solar activity cycles – most importantly the millennial cycle – and using the neutron count and 10Be record as the most useful proxy for solar activity check my blog-post at http://climatesense-norpag.blogspot.com/2014/07/climate-forecasting-methods-and-cooling.html

   The most important factor in climate forecasting is where earth is in regard to the quasi- millennial natural solar activity cycle which has a period in the 960 – 1020 year range. For evidence of this cycle see Figs 5-9. From Fig 9 it is obvious that the earth is just approaching ,just at or just past a peak in the millennial cycle. I suggest that more likely than not the general trends from 1000- 2000 seen in Fig 9 will likely generally repeat from 2000-3000 with the depths of the next LIA at about 2650. The best proxy for solar activity is the neutron monitor count and 10 Be data. My view ,based on the Oulu neutron count – Fig 14 is that the solar activity millennial maximum peaked in Cycle 22 in about 1991. There is a varying lag between the change in the in solar activity and the change in the different temperature metrics.    There has been a cooling temperature trend since then (Usually interpreted as a “pause”) There is likely to be a steepening of the cooling trend in 2017- 2018 corresponding to the very important Ap index break below all recent base values in 2005-6. Fig 13.

   The Polar excursions of the last few winters in North America are harbingers of even more extreme winters to come more frequently in the near future.

   I would be very happy to discuss this with you by E-mail or phone .It is important that you use your position and visibility to influence United States government policy and also change the perceptions of the MSM and U.S public in this matter. If my forecast cooling actually occurs the policy of CO2 emission reduction will add to the increasing stress on global food production caused by a cooling and generally more arid climate.

You only have to compare Sea Surface Temperatures (SST) from HADSST3 with estimates of Global Mean Surface Temperatures (GMST) from Hadcrut4 and RSS.

This first graph shows how global SST has varied since 1850. There are obvious changepoints where the warming or cooling periods have occurred.

This graph shows in green Hadcrut4 estimates of global surface temperature, including ocean SST, and near surface air temperatures over land. The blue line from RSS tracks lower tropospheric air temperatures measured by satellites, not near the surface but many meters higher. Finally, the red line is again Hadsst3 global SST All lines use 30-month averages to reduce annual noise and display longer term patterns.

Strikingly, SST and GMST are almost synonymous from the beginning until about 1980. Then GMST diverges with more warming than global SST. Satellite TLT shows the same patterns but with less warming…

 1. Reality disagrees with the Doomsday Climate Predictions – There has been no warming for over 18 years and Severe weather was worse in the past when there were no SUVs. 

 2 Carbon aka CO2 is not a pollutant. CO2 makes the earth green and grows crops that feed the poor. 

 3. Pre fossil fuel life was short and brutal and slave labor was the norm. Post Fossil fuel life expectancy soared as did the standard of living of billions of people. Denying the poor of the 3rd world access to cheap and reliable energy from fossil fuel is immoral. 

 4. Renewable Energy is weather dependent thus when no sun or wind it requires a fossil fuel backup to keep people from freezing in dark. In Germany where billions have been spent on wind and solar the import of coal has skyrocketed to keep the lights on. Electric rates have skyrocketed making electricity a good only the rich can afford. 

 5. Even if the Doomsday climate models are correct (and they are not) blowing billions of useless green energy will do nothing to mitigate climate change. Al it will do is line the pockets of the rich crony green capitalists at the expense of poor people.
